Daddy’s Hugs…

May 29, 2008

Only the tenderness of a Dad can cheer up a sad little girl.  What a beautiful and tender picture.

Memorial Day…

May 29, 2008

We had a very special Memorial Day. We had a balloon launch for Uncle Paul. We all wrote letters and tied them to balloons and sent them to Heaven. Isabel said, “Maybe Heavenly Father will catch them and give them to Uncle Paul.” Papa Johns balloon went straight up into the sky, maybe Uncle Paul needed his letter the most. We all miss Paul so much and it was sad to not have him around when we were in Vernal. But it is so nice to know that he is happy and progressing in the Lords work. I am so grateful for the gospel. I know we will one day see Paul again.

Dance Recital…

May 19, 2008

What a cute picture!!! Isabel had her studio recital on Saturday. She did 5 dances and did an awesome job of course! I don’t know how her little brain holds all the choreography she has! Daddy always gives her flowers! What a great Dad! Jack was also a great sport…what a good little brother! (Thanks for all the help with Jack, Mom…it was nice to have you there on such a crazy long day!)

A First…

May 19, 2008

After a long day of dance…Jack thought he would give me a little winner too! This is a first, but he actually puked in my hair! I picked him up to get him ready for bed and lifted him a little to high…and there it was all in my hair and down my back! He is so Boy!!! It is fun to have such amazing children even if I get puked on every once in a while!

Big Winner…

May 19, 2008

Isabel competed at the Champions Productions Competition and did very well. She had 4 girls in her category and won Queen! She then won Over-all High Point Queen in the Mini Amateur Division. There was at least 40 girls in the whole Mini Amateur Division. She is amazing!! It was so nice of Nana, Grams, Grandma T, Jordon and Ellie to come and support her! The best part is, she is so calm about the whole thing. She doesn’t even brag or anything! As you can see the trophies are quite large! We are going to have to build a trophy room for her. She also won a iPod shuffle, I have a feeling this is just the beginning!

Zac’s New Toy…

May 19, 2008

Zac is so excited about his new jeep! It is a 1979 CJ 5. It was Zac’s mom jeep. He has always loved this jeep. He remembers riding to school in it. He will have so much fun driving this around, but be careful with the ‘old girl…she only likes to go about 50 mph. The family even helped him get her all clean and looking good!

Cha Cha…

May 16, 2008

Isabel and Ezra got a chance to work with Louis VanAmstel from “Dancing with the Stars”. Louis taught them their Cha-Cha. It so awesome to have such talented, professionals come to the studio. Miss Kim had Isabel show him her solo! He was very impressed. Isabel and Ezra are so cute together and they have so much fun! I’m sure they will be working with him again. Louis is a great teacher and so nice. It was neat to watch her work with such an amazing teacher and dancer!

A Day at the Ball Park…

May 15, 2008

Isabel performed at the Salt Lake City Bees game. Her ballroom team was in the opening ceremonies for the Utah Kids day at the ball park. It was so fun to see her, she looked so big. Grams and Papa John got to be there with us for a great day at the ball park.

Just being Red Necks…

May 15, 2008

Hanging out with Grams and Papa John is so fun! Isabel loves to be a red neck when we go to Vernal. She still has the city girl in her (notice the sparkle shoes), but loves to ride the tractor with Papa John. Jack loves to be with Grams. They are always together doing something fun. We had a fun day spending time together. Papa John even gave us all ride in his big motor home!

Mother’s Day…

May 15, 2008

What a great day I had with all my family. It was so nice to spend time with my Mom. I love her so much! There is just something so special about being with your Mommy. It was also nice to be with Zac’s mom. We rode our bikes to Zac’s parents house on my new bike! Zac got me a sweet bike for my Mother’s day gift! We also got a trailer for the kids. I’m so lucky to have such a wonderful husband that always spoils me! It was so nice to hear Jed speak in church and hear him reflect on Mother’s. I am so grateful to be a Mother! Nothing is more full feeling and exhausting at the same time. Everyday I thank my Heavenly Father for my sweet babies. They truly enrich my life. It is so fun to see their little personalities shine through. I would not trade being a Mom for anything! I am so lucky to have the family I do…and I love that they show me love everyday. Thanks for such a wonderful day!
